Hello America, this time I am really coming to you!!!
It has been a busy month passed, work, business travel, customer visits, visa appointment etc. drove me crazy. I always tried to find time to write something but I couldn’t. With all this visits, sometimes I was frustrated with some problems and what I liked was some sleep and ready for the next day.
Well, something went on really good though. My visa application turned out successful although with some small issues during the appointment, my travel itinerary was finally finalized. Now ready, set, go!

What a journey yesterday!!!
Getting up at 6:30am, I packed everything, then I hurried up to get a taxi to the Wenzhou airport, I ate nothing. At the reception desk in the airport, I took my air ticket, then security check and went to the waiting room. I bought a bottle of milk which was my breakfast. It has been 3 tiring days from 4th to 6th, I was with the technical guys from Petronas in the workshop all day long from 9 to 7, to do pressure tests on these valves that they bought for a tie-in project in Myanmar.
We had a tight plan for each day, however there was not enough time for the tests because it took longer time than the standard to make sure there was no leakage and the performance is satisfactory to customer, in addition, we measure every valves and kept records. We also disassembled some valves to see the inner structure and how was it. Everything was good except some miner deviation from the drawings.
The most important things for us are safety measures in the worksite, to be exactly HSE (Health, Safety and Environment), and documentations. We have a lot to do towards these two aspects. But anyway, overall, the customers were satisfied with the quality except the 6 pcs ball valves with SW ends + nipples.
Although I felt very tired, I mean physically, I learned a lot from them and from the inspection. It is good to communicate with these technical experts, you learn a lot by talking to them.
One more day to go, see how it will end up!
As usual, I open my computer, go to facebook.com to check with my friends. When I tried to open facebook.com, it was loading very slowly, then displayed me with this:

I wondered if it was because Michael Jackson’s public memorial service flushed it down. On second thought, a great company could not be like this, it must a have great tech support. Thinking back of a post about youtube.com, i started to believe that China’ Great Firewall (GFW) blocked facebook.com. Ohh god, I checked twitter.com when I am writing this, it is gone as well.

What the hell is going on now? youtube, facebook and twitter are all gone. It is a horrible world!!!

Hello America, I am coming!
I’ve never thought I’d go to America at this season of time. When Lee mentioned to me during a casual chatting that he would like me to go there helping him out with the computer stuff, network and other office stuff, I thought he was joking, so I did not take it seriously. However, it was all confirmed when Leo came back from US. He asked me to stay for a moment in his office, I considered it as usual, but when he told me that they had decided to send me to US office first, I was astonished. It is 3 a.m., I am still up. It is so quiet that I can hear the cars shuttling outside and my keyboard typing. I am asking myself what is going on with myself, but I cannot figure out why. My eyes are just wide open after times of trying to sleep.
Something’s bothering me? No, nothing is really in my mind. So why the hell am I still awake?
Recently the atmosphere in the office is quite intense, I can smell it. It is no big deal, but I cannot help writing it out here, hope this does not make someone mad.
