My iPhone has just been unlocked and used for a less than 2 weeks and tonight it was stolen, right in my face!
I had my supper and got out of KFC then I started riding my bike. Just between the time I reach to my water bottle, the music suddenly stopped, by the time I turn my head around, my iPhone in my backpack’s side pocket has gone leaving the earphone hanging.
Fortunately I got my old Nokia E63 with me, I found a hotspot and call my phone with Skype, it was hung up. Now it pissed me off, I was just trying to tell him that he will not be able to use it anyway. It is an iPhone 3GS new bootrom, he will not be able to jailbreak without activating it and yet he cannot activate it coz I don’t think he has an AT&T sim card. In addition I set up passcode, the data will be erased after 10 attempts. He will have to activate the phone once reconnect it to computers.
But above all, I backed up all data, that’s what matters.
I never thought people could do this in China, I knew it was dangerous but not like this. Oh my gosh. This is the fist time someone ever stole something of greater value, something that I love so much. I hate that guy, I hate Wenzhou now.
Today there came a gang of 3 scamps and sat in our office smoking. When two of them went to the bar, I brought my phone with me and went there too, then they asked what I was doing and I told them that I was just wondering in my own office and nothing else. When he said me holding my phone, he asked if I was taking photos but I said no. Now surprising thing happened, he ordered me to give my phone to him. I was shocked when he asked that. Why in the hell should I give the phone to him, it is my personal property. Yes, I did shoot videos of them, then what? It is my office.
Wenzhou people are unbelievable. It is ridiculous. They are still in our office as of now.

Everyone has been waiting for this to happen and it finally comes. What’s exciting about iOS 4.0 (formerly known as iPhone OS 4.0) is the multitasking which everybody is expecting. Sadly however, the iPhone 2G, 3 G and iPod Touch 2G will not be able to enjoy multitasking though they can still upgrade to iOS 4.0. The iOS 4.0 is a breakthrough on Apple products especially iPhone and it is gonna be a hit, again (Jobs)!
That being said, for me, I don’t really care. What I really care about is when Dev-Team releases the unlock (and Jailbreak) tools so that I can use the “Phone as a Phone”. The damn AT&T did not allow international roaming on Pay as You Go plan and I could not use the Phone after I came back to China. Instead I have been using it as an “iPod Touch” for months. Thank god I could still use it, I saw a lot of iPhones became bricks.
In case you are wondering where to download iOS 4.0, you can visit http://www.redmondpie.com/download-ios-4.0-firmware-for-iphone-9170209/ for now. If you want break, the will provide updates from Dev-Team as well.
Good luck and god bless us all.
It has been raining for 3 days and it was holiday and today it continued after a while of cloudy weather. It is depressing everywhere. It is driving me crazy.
Since I came back from Houston, I have been able to count the sunny days it has had here, not to mention the blue sky. The weather is extremely bad here and I don’t like it, at all. It makes me blue.
When will it be bright again?
I have never thought that I could give people a lecture to share with them my story but it happened today. Invited by one of my best friends who is a teacher in Lishui University from where I graduated, I prepared a short presentation and went there.
Before the session began, I was a little nervous but I got back to a normal state after few times of deep breaths. After I entered to the room, I found out that there were 3 classes of students, more than 70 students, it was the biggest “meeting” I ever had. It was exciting.
Throughout the presentation I used English but I was not sure if they understood completely as they are freshmen. Fortunately and what comforted me was that applauses continued quite a while after I finished my presentation.
During the Q&A period, unexpectedly there were 3 of them who asked questions. I didn’t think that in China, students would be responding to Q&A initiatively. Those were good questions and I answered them with details and my thoughts. Hope my answers were helpful to them. I think for the rest of the students, they had questions but were too afraid to ask. The situation should be changed in Chinese education, I think.

Are you wondering what the downtown looks like in Houston? Well, I did and I thought it would be big and crowded and there would be a lot of people there. You know the reality is? The reality is that it is not big at all, comparing with Shanghai or Hongkong, it is nothing. You could even count how many buildings there were, and they are not very tall.
Why? I asked, and the reason is that downtown is nothing but a working place, people do not really live there. On Sunday, you barely see people in downtown, almost all the shops are closed. When I was there, I could not find a place to eat, it is unbelievable. However, there are a lot, a lot of parking lots, they are big, I mean huge that the whole building is a parking lot.

I heard it is snowing in Wenzhou, China, while it is sunny here today. The sky is surprisingly extremely blue like I saw in Alexandra, Egypt. However it was raining in the past two days.

It’s been two days in America, first of all, it was a tiring journey from China to American, I spent like over 17 hours on the airplane. Fortunately everything was well including the Customs. It was to my surprise that it took me over 1 hour in the line waiting for entry approval in the Customs just because the computer was down and I barely made the transit flight. Read more…

11.11, what a number, what a date! It is called “Single’s Day” today.
I heard earlier before people talking how to make this day special, where to go etc. Yeah, the party is on! I suppose all “singles” are out somewhere enjoying this special day now. So what are you doing now?
Michael Jackson “This Is It”, a documentary film of Michael Jackson of his rehearsal record was on theater on Oct. 28, 2009. However, I could not get a chance to see on theater.
Michael is a true legend and this is NOT it, his musics will live forever. As it is said, his musics inspired people, they truly inspired me, made me love him so much. I never felt tired of his musics.
Hope I could get a chance to see his “This Is It” soon.
