In Microsoft Office Word 2007, you will find it becomes very slow when switch between document windows. You may assume that your computer is running our of RAM, so you check the memory usage, surprisingly your computer has 1G or more RAM installed. What are you thinking now? Microsoft Office has big bugs?

As far as I know, this problem exists in computers that have Adobe Acrobat installed. It is kind of compatiability problem. The solution is as follows:

1. Go to Word Options by clicking the Office Button, then click Word Options;

2. In Word Options windows, select Add-Ins on the left pane, then choose COM Add-ins from the dropdown list of Manage, then click Go… button;

3. In COM Add-in windows, uncheck Acrobat PDFMaker COM Addin;

4. Click Ok, it is done.

Try switching windows now.
