Just the day before yesterday, I found my website unaccessible in China, they I called Godaddy.com for support (as my domain is registered and site hosted in Godaddy.com), what they told me was that China seemed to have some kind of FIREWALLS to block certain sites and Godaddy was on the list. I googled it and found that China does have the so called Great Firewall of China, this is so freaking unbelievable.
When I asked them if there was any way to test if my site was blocked by Chinese government for sure, they said nothing they could do and they had no idea about it. However, they suggested me call the Internet Service Provider (ISP) for more information or solutions.
I wondered why my site was blocked, for one my site is personal not commercial, for the other, I did not upload or put any illegal content on my site.
By the way, with my friend’s help, I just found that my site could be opened in his computer which was in Hangzhou. I am in Wenzhou, Zhejiang.
Is my site really blocked by GFC? Does anyone have the same problem? How do you tell if the site is blocked? And how do you do about it?

Yesterday I found there is new application update on Apple.com, Safari 4, I downloaded it and installed it on my Mac.

The first thing, I mean first difference I found is the Top Sites, like a wall, when you create a new tab, it shows the top 12 sites which are most viewed.

Hello World!

It has been a long time, two years as I remembered, since my previous site, it is all because I was lazy that the site was abandoned. Now I am back, and I have made up my mind to keep this site going. This will be considered as my very first personal website, totally new. 

QQ Zone is disregarded now, so is the MSN space and so on. They are not as good as own site, I can do whatever I want here. I can change, add, delete, approve or block whatever I like to. Things are so easy now.

New year, new beginning, keep moving.
